Why Michigan conditions shape the plan
Much of this area sits on clay-heavy soil that holds water and shifts as it freezes and thaws, so Rohto assesses grading and drainage at the start of a project.
That does not mean every property has the same conditions. Slope, sun, existing trees and the way water leaves the lot differ from one yard to the next, which is why a plan begins with the site itself.

What does design cost, and is financing available?
Design and renderings start at $2,000+. Formal estimates for full-property transformations cost $250, and that $250 is credited toward the total project price if you hire Rohto. Not every project needs design work or a formal estimate; we will talk through what yours calls for. Financing options are available; ask about them in your first conversation. Can a project be built in stages?
Yes. A design can be installed all at once or in stages, and each stage follows the same plan so the property still comes together as one landscape.
Do you plan for drainage and grading?
